The USAID|BIZTAR Project is working with the Government of Moldova to improve the business enabling environment. One of the areas USAID|BIZTAR is working on is the Business Regulatory Reform, to simplify regulations and streamline procedures affecting businesses.
In the Business Regulatory Reform area, the USAID|BIZTAR project has been involved in activities to achieve the following objectives:

Less time required to obtain permits
Reduced cost for permits
Reduced burden of government regulation
Increased efficiency of the legal framework
Simplified Business Reporting Requirements, including National Bureau of Statistics, State Tax Service and CNAS
Consolidated reports
Less time required to meet business reporting requirements
Reduced number of reports required
Electronic submission of reports
Improved Access to Government Information, including online Registry of Legal Acts
Increased quality of information on changes in policies and regulations
Forms available on the internet
Improved web sites
Effective Monitoring of Reform and Public Awareness
