National Insurance House and USAID|BIZTAR launch Acces CPAS system: The National Social Insurance House (CNAS) and USAID|BIZTAR project launched a new service for taxpayers on March 16, 2010. The service is called Current Account System for Social Contributions. It is an on-line information system that provides easy internet access of all insured persons to their current accounts.

Solutions to simplify the reporting burden for businesses May 21, 2009: During the period February – March 2009, the USAID Business Regulatory and Tax Administration Reform Project, carried out an opinion poll among 1200 accountants from Cahul, Chisinau, Orhei and Balti regions. The study was carried out aiming at finding out the opinion of the accountants about the reporting process and at estimating the total time necessary for the reporting activity.

Sorin Hadarcă, Regulatory Reform Expert, USAID|BIZTAR, gave a presentation on the proposals to improve the construction regulations drafted by the USAID|BIZTAR Project.
Road Map for Business Environment Development in Moldova April 23, 2009: The Ministry of Economy and Trade, in partnership with the Business Regulatory and Tax Administration Reform Project (USAID|BIZTAR) and the World Bank, held a roundtable to present to the business community a "road map" by which the Government of Moldova intends to improve the business environment in Moldova.
