E-Reporting via Internet to CNAS and NBS - an important step towards diminishing the reporting burden for businesses
USAID|BIZTAR Project, financed by the U.S. Agency for International Development, jointly with its partners - National Social Insurance House (CNAS) and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) - has launched on November 17th, this year, a new public electronic reporting service, via Internet, to CNAS and NBS.

The public presentation event of the new service was attended by leaders of the two beneficiary institutions - Mrs. Maria Borta, Chairman of CNAS, and Mrs. Lucia Spoiala, General Director of NBS - as well as about 120 business representatives, managers and accountants, representatives of public institutions, the donor community and media.

The service has been elaborated with USAID|BIZTAR's support and is intended for economic agents who now shall be enabled to submit annual and quarterly reports to CNAS and NBS through the Internet, beginning January 1, 2012, by using the web portal www.raportare.md.
"This service appeared due to the application of modern information technologies and it is a new step that we made along with our partners, CNAS and NBS, in order to reduce the reporting burden for businesses. We trust that the service concerned will be widely used starting next year, and the Moldovan businessmen will now be able to focus more on the actual economic activity", underscored Mr. Douglas Muir, USAID|BIZTAR Chief of Party.
The new service is a modern tool for reducing financial costs and time, providing expeditive processing of data and contributing to the enhancement of the quality of information.
