The Ministry of Construction and Regional Development with the assistance of the USAID|BIZTAR Project prepared and implemented a multifaceted national campaign to promote better understanding of a new Law on Authorization of Execution of Construction. This Law was adopted by the Parliament on 9 July 2010 and entered into effect in September with its publication in Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova (# 155-158).

A law adopted on the 9th of July and effective since September 2010 reduced the terms and the number of procedures required for the issuance of the authorizations for construction works from 186 to 86 days and from 17 to 10 procedures.
