Savings mobilization in SCAs

Financial prudential norms in the Republic of Moldova do not allow SCAs to accept deposits at call or deposits at short notice. Although deposits at call are not allowed, we have to understand the series of savings products which exist, because competitors provide them and might  attract deposits, which may be placed in SCAs . For this very purpose, the authors provide detailed explanation on the process of  formation and defining of savings, savings price, encouragement, saving attraction and management. The material is divided into five chapters:

-Savings' products;
-Savings' steps;
-Savings' price;
-Liquidity management;
-Savings' encouragement;
-Savings' mobilization.

The manual was developed: with the support of the Department for International Development of Great Britain and the company  Landell Mills Management Consultants. The publication of the manual was funded by USAID project  BIZPRO-Moldova.
